Official Book Club Selection

I love Kathy Griffin.



She is a genius at comedy and gays love her to death.

I love her to death and if I had to have someone’s brain, I would choose Kathy Griffin’s. Well, her or Anna Wintour’s. Hahaha!

Anyway, last weekend I was at Greenbelt and went to Fully Booked with Joms, Dabo and YJ. Finally, I got my own copy of Kathy Griffin’s memoir, Official Book Club Selection.


Anderson Cooper is so hot. Hahaha!

I’m still halfway through the book and it is one hell of a memoir. She talks candidly of her childhood, how she loves television and how influential her parents are to her life. Revealing a dark side (her relationship with her brother Kenny) is kinda shocking too. I’m looking forward to her life as a television actress (Suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields) because I’m sure she has a lot to tell.

Other highlights of this book would be her relationship with billionaire Steve Wozniak, how she got banned on David Letterman and Regis Philbin’s show, how she and Paris Hilton became ‘BFF’, her brush with death via liposuction, her show Life on the D-List and so much more.

I’m sure this is one helluva book. I’m still not finished but I’m already bragging. Hahaha!

One review says to read it up to the index where she pokes fun on other celebrities mentioned and not mentioned in the book.

I think Oprah should make this an official book club selection but I heard Oprah hates Kathy. Hahaha!

Maybe that’s why she went to Tyra instead. LOL
