School Boo Call

On Monday, the first of June, is the official beginning of classes here in the Philippines.

My manang is super busy preparing for my pamangkin’s school stuff.
Notebooks, uniforms, bags, pens, crayons and more. This year, she’s going to be more busy because my niece Zoe is also going to school. She is just 2 years and 10 months old, but she’s kinda excited to go to school already. Nakakatuwa nga eh, manang texted me this afternoon that Zoe may be the smallest in her class. The length of her skirt is just one dangkal and ang kanyang shoe size is 4 inches lang! Hahaha!

I’m a little excited for her and medyo worried na rin. She’s so tiny, she may look frail but she’s actually a little vixen like her mom, my ate. Her temper is very short. Maldita. Baka bigyan ng sakit ng ulo si manang or her teacher.

Anyway, I too wish could go back to school.

I miss the excitement of preparing things. Excited to see new faces. Mag-aabang sa lobby or sa gate to check on the freshest and gorgeous faces na puwedeng maging prospect for ‘harrasment’. You know what I mean. Hahaha!

Kung puwede lang kasi sana I want to take my MBA. It’s long overdue.

I have to work. I don’t have a choice. As they say in Spanish, “Trabajo para vivir”.

Talking about first day of school, my favourite part is always the class orientation where you get to introduce yourself infront of the class. Parang Miss Universe National Costume competition. Hahaha!

In college, I went to the same school where my manang also studied.
My reason for studying there was actually because I’m afraid of a new environment. At least doon, nandun ang kapatid ko, at least man lang I know one soul there noh. And if I ever get bullied or something, puwedeng mag-rescue si manang.
First day of school was not stressful as it turned out to be.
I was not bullied. They actually loved me.

Hahaha!

Anyway, back to the present.

My bestfriend KC and I have this crazy plan.

We will enroll ourselves daw back in college. A course where maraming cute slash gwapong boys na naka-enroll. Engineering perhaps?

Nakakaloka noh?

Hahaha!

You know kasi, back in college, very well-behaved kami pareho. We follow rules and regulations. Teachers liked us because of our dedication to our class. And because we were bloody serious in the past, we kinda miss the fun of college life.

Ito’y plano pa naman noh. Hindi pa kami sure kung totohanin namin.

Minsan kasi sadyang tinotopak kami kung mag-isip.

LOL

Non-biodegrable

Political parties Lakas and Kampi got ‘married’ today.

So what does that mean for us?

Actually, hindi rin ako sure. But as far as my tiny brain could comprehend this means Ate Glow’s political party just got bigger.

But is it a good thing for her?

I hope not.

I wish for a negative result. Really.

Charing!

Hahaha!

Sa mata ng isang pangkaraniwang pa-girl na tulad ko, and based from my observations, pati na rin chika ng isang intellectual friend, this recent development is actually both good and bad.

Remember that the Lakas party is headed by former president FVR, but where was he kanina? Don’t you think something this big happens pero wala ang lider?

I smell patis.

And with this merger comes the battle of the presidentiables.

I am so excited and anticipating na magkakagulo ito.

How many presidentiables are there now in the Lakas-Kampi party?

Well, there’s Kabayang Noli.

Sec. Gilbert Teodoro. (huh?)

Bayani Fernando.

Eventually someone will be declared the party’s “chosen one”.

But don’t you think the losers will accept it gracefully?

I don’t think so.

If that happens, I’ll slash my wrist. Chos!

Philippine politics do not behave that way. Bunch of plastics.

You’ll be surprised if this early even if the race hasn’t started yet ay magpukulan na yan ng mga basura sa isa’t isa.

Hello?

Well.....

What we witnessed today was not just a merger of Lakas and Kampi.

It was one helluva Tupperware Party!

I Started A Joke

Sometimes when you want to entertain people, you crack a joke.

When you crack a joke, hopefully you’ll get laughter from your audience.

But where do you draw the line from making a joke out of people by making up stories about them?

Well, others find it funny and entertaining. Especially when the ones involved are celebrities.

It’s easier daw kasi to target them because after all, who can relate to a joke involving Juan and Juana dela Cruz when a joke about Piolo Pascual or Madame Auring is more attractive and ‘relevant’.

I do not claim innocence on this. But I believe I am different.

I also make fun of people. Especially the controversial ones. But as far as I can remember, those entries where I make fun of these celebrities are not invented stories.

My animal farm series is different noh. I’m just comparing their looks to a specific type of animal. =P

The worst thing about making up stories to be served as funny entertainment to a certain audience is the use of satire as a defense to their insults.

Nakakaloka.

Yes, you are not supposed to believe those stories.

The writer said so.

It makes him/her a wonderful entertainer.

But does that make him/her a better person?

What Could Have Been

The following article is written by my sister, the eldest in our family, who is also a regular contributor to this blog.

Read on.

-----------------------

Last week, on what was supposed to be another uneventful day, our community was confronted with an event simply out of ordinary for us little people. One of our neighbors, a young girl in her early 20's killed herself.

Why? Apparently she was pregnant.

It shocked me because I simply cannot imagine what she might have been through, what were her thoughts while contemplating the very act itself, and how she might have suffered.

You see, I am a single mother myself.

Yes, I must admit that when I found out I was pregnant the thought has crossed my mind. But thank God I love life more and I also loved my child. Whatever pain and
sufferings that I went through while having her was completely gone when I saw her for the first time all bloody and squealing her little lungs out.

I have known some people who committed suicide. A lot of them simply did not manifest any strange behaviour prior to their death. Sometimes when I look back I
cannot help but think

"Did I miss something there? Was he/she
crying for help and I never saw it?"

But more so the reason for their suicide which is mostly unwanted pregnancy.

Yes it's tough going through with it all alone, facing your parents anger and disappointment, the disgrace and humiliation, the still continuing discrimination not just for single mothers but the stigma that affects your own child, as well as various other difficulties such as finances and education. But should it justify the act of killing not just yourself but your own child innocent of all your mistakes?

NO!

I do not judge anyone, I do not have that right, but I mourn for what could have been. A life that could have been different from what you expect. The joys of seeing your baby smile, call you Mama, the happiness that only your own child can bring is lost, never to be found again.

A life cut too short by human frailty.

Her

This is not about that girl in the sex video ha. Tapos na ako sa kanila. They’re so last season already. Hahaha!

Mas makabuluhan ang post na ito.

Okay serious na. Char!

Aung San Suu Kyi , the 1991 Nobel Peace prize-winning democracy activist and Prime Minister-elect of Myanmar who has been kept under house arrest over 13 of the past 19 years is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, 27th of May 2009.

Ang saya-saya noh?

NOT!

Myanmar, is under the rule of the military junta since 1988. The junta has charged Aung San Suu Kyi of violating the rules of her house arrest for allowing an American to stay at her house. 53-year old John William Yettaw reportedly swam across a lake and entered her home without permission from the government. This infraction means that she might be detained for an additional 3 to 5 years of imprisonment if found guilty.

Why do I smell something fishy about this new ‘violation’ noh?

Juice ko, Myanmar’s junta leaders is so bitter talaga. They refused to recognize the voice of the people. They continue to violate human rights. They ignore the appeal and pleas of both western and Asian leaders. Parang they have a world of their own. Nakakaloka!

Come to think of it, Myanmar’s leaders are not so different with our country’s very own PGMA and her balyenasband (balyenang husband).

Daw Aung San is no different from Jun Lozada.

Just because they can’t keep him to shut up, ayun, pinakulong. Kinasuhan ng perjury.
Haller?

Hahaha!

Bwiset!

Thank You Santo Domingo

It’s been quite a while since my last proclamation of love.

You probably noticed I no longer have my Flavour of the Month feature in my sidebar.

Nagbagong buhay na kasi ako ngayon.

After my rough break-up with the Atienza,

and my violent relationship with Pattinson,

the religious differences I have with Abbas, na eventually ay inagaw at inangkin na ng isang reyna na taga barrio siete,

and a whole lot more men that came at naglahong parang bula sa aking buhay, I decided to love myself more.

Ayoko na sa men.

They just used me for their personal satisfaction.

Ayoko nang maging trophy girlfriend.

Until I stumbled upon this beauty…

My gosh!

Ang gwapo niyaaaaaa!

Look at that stare. Hahaha! I think I’ve found him na talagaaaaa!

His name is Rene Rodriguez.

He hails from Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic.

He is with Request Models.

He has graced the shows of Masamoto, Lanvin and Jean Paul Gaultier last Fall/Winter 2009-2010 in Paris.

He was featured in the ad campaigns of United Colors of Benetton F/W 2008, and recently for Uniqlo's polo shirts line and Lacoste S/S 2009.

Hahaha

Hmmmmm….

I’m sure gorgeous din ang magiging children namin...

Like their father and me. LOL

George Michael Will Hate You

Goshness.

Another Hayden Kho post?

Hahaha!

Super busy ang world ngayon sa pagse-search ng very controversial videos ni Dr. Hayden Kho for the past 48 hours. And mind you, not mind me, very lengthy……. ang naturang videos ha. Hahaha!

My nephews and nieces read my blog you know. I know they are loyal readers of mine. Ayokong mahaluan ng kahalayan ang kanilang consciousness. Char!

Juice ko, he’s so gorgeous naman talaga. And the way he pumps, oh my gosh, gosh abelgosh, hindi na ako magco-comment. Hahaha!

Oo nga kasalanan din niya kasi pumayag siya na irecord ang ‘everything’ but you know, I can’t blame her.

At the end of the day, Katrina is a person, a woman, a victim. She deserves our understanding and respect. Tama na ang panlalait na natanggap niya for the past days and I’m sure she’s learned her lesson. Huwag na nating dagdagan ang kanyang kalbaryo.

On the other hand, Doc Hayden is a dog. Kahit crush na crush ko siya he doesn’t have the right to treat women like that. Kung ako na lang siguro papayag ako. Chos!

Ang tanong na lang ay kung papayag siya to be with me. Chos ulet!

What he did to these women is unforgivable. Tsk tsk.

Well, let’s just hope that this controversy will come to rest very soon. Managot na ang dapat managot.

And kung mabasa man ito ni Dr. Hayden Kho, my message to you is….

Call me.

Hahahaha!

Thunder Only Happen When It's Raining

I’m a little sad.

For the past days I’ve been trying my best to write a new entry here, but my brain and my heart (char!) is so not cooperating.

First of all, it’s not a writer’s block.
Hindi naman kasi ako writer. I’m a diva you know. Hahaha!

Secondly, the piece that I’m trying to write is a little out of my league. Beyond my comfort zone in terms of content. Medyo serious kasi. Like FBI serious. Chos! Medyo challenging in terms of resourcing and I need facts to support it.

Char!

Third, my future husband (bawal ang kumontra) and I have been textmates again. We lost touch for a few months and now chika ulet kami.
Anyway, he told me that he has a crush on my friend. Gagawin pa yata akong San Juanico Bridge.

Hello? Ayokong maging bridge noh! I want to be the destination. Hahaha!

I’m back to normal na sa pagsu-surf. Hihi. Mahirap kaya magsulat using a small medium noh, para kang nagpa-manicure sa isang bulag.

Also, I want to share sa inyo that there’s a new tambayan in the SDWWWW.

That’s

Super
Duper
Wide
World
Wide
Web

Hehehehe..

BARRIO SIETE.

Barrio Siete is the new place to be. Created by the one and only Reyna Elena.

And guess what, naimbita ako na maging contributor ng naturang blog. Bwahaha!

It’s really flattering to be invited ha.
(insert Kris Aquino annoying laugh here)

Seriously, sinong mag-aakala na ang pangkaraniwan pero magandang taga-bukid na tulad ko na may maliit na blog ay mabibigyan ng pambihirang pagkakataon na magsulat para sa isang prestigious blog, and to be in the league of much-experienced and intellectual, and very credible Filipino bloggers.

Thank you Ate Reynz for the opportunity. Sana I won’t disappoint you.

Feel ko tuloy ako si Karlie Kloss na nakaupo sa mesa kasama sina Lauren Hutton, Iman, Twiggy, Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford and more. Hihihi

Pressure much?

Umuulan kasi dito habang nagta-type ako, that's why. Hahaha!

Cruel Summer

The summer is so not fierce noh?

It's supposed to be sunshine all throughout the season but no thanks to GGGW, that's

Goodness
Gracious
Global
Warming,

the climate has totally changed.

Radically.

Eeek!

Halos everyday na lang yata umuulan. May bagyo pa nga this time debbah?

Dapat siguro ibahin na ng mga ad agencies and tv networks ang promotional materials nila during summer.

Instead of depicting the sun in bold yellow, orange and everything bright to portray the season, dapat ay iconsider na nila ang pag gamit ng blues, aqua, cornflower and greens to show the all new, literally wet and wild Summer.

Char!

At kung may sunshine naman and you plan to expose yourself to get your much awaited tan, be sure to use SPF 1Million sunblock to ensure not to harm or burn your skin from the UV rays.

Talk about extremes.

Kung mainit, super duper init puede kang magluto ng itlog by just exposing it in broad daylight.

Kung malamig, kulang na lang mag snow in the middle of April.

Nakakaloka!

Mas nakakaloka pa kay Nanay Dionesia!

Hahaha!

Sometimes in my solitude (charing!) habang nagmumuni-muni, I blame the 80's for this abrupt climate change.

Why?

Hello? 80's is the time where New Wave, Punk, Glam Metal and Synthpop were big.

And the underlying denominator to these diversed music is a specific look:

Large, frizzy and crazy coiffures!

Meaning, sandamakmak na hairspray and mousse were used to create the look.

Aerosol is not good for the atmosphere.

It's very poisonous.

It's worse that utot.

LOL

Boy George.

Cyndi Lauper.

Duran Duran.

The Cure.

Blondie.

And so on and on and on.

Magtatag sila ng charity organisation to save Mother Earth. Afterall, may kagagawan sila sa pagkasira nito.

Ang name ng movement:

The 80's Gives Back.

Char!

The New IT Girl

Move over Isabelle Daza.

No, it's not you Divine Lee.

At lalong hindi na ikaw Agyness Deyn.

The new IT girl is...

Nanay Dionesia Pacquiao.

Yes.

She's the new force to be reckoned with.

Recession is not in the vocabulary of our latest fashionista.

Rachel Zoe would love her!
I always see her on tv lately after showing up in Las Vegas.

She makes me smile.

And laugh.

Her support for her son is overwhelming. Nanay na nanay talaga.

The foreign media loved her in Vegas and now that she's home, the attention given to her by the local media is nakakaloka.

In her words,

"CELEBRITY NA AKO!"

Hahaha!

Nanay Dionesia will be celebrating her 60th birthday on the 15th and it's gonna be one helluva party.

At ang taray na niya ngayon ha. Bitbit niya palagi ang kanyang Louis Vuitton bag and Dior shades.

Bwahahaha!

On the other hand, I was quite disappointed when she showed her outfits she'll wear to the party. The label wasn't mentioned. And the shoes, it looked hideous.

Itong si Manny kasi mukhang kinuripot pa yata si Nanay.

Or baka si Jinkee ang pumili. Gosh!

I heard Jinkee has a collection of Gucci and LV handbags.

It won't hurt naman siguro if she too spoil Nanay Dionesia. I mean hello? Give her a Chanel!

She also deserves to have a dress tailor made for her noh. An Inno Sotto perhaps? Haha!
Frederick Peralta already chose a few stuff that he'd like to make for the mother of the moment.

Okay seriously, many of us (yes including me) are so amused by Nanay Dionesia's stardom but I believe she deserves the best in the world.

We always want the best for our mothers too, right?

In her 60 years of existence in this world, only in the later part of her life did she experienced a breath of fresh air.

Let's give her a break and wish her well.

Happy Birthday Nanay Dionesia!

Isang uppercut nga diyan! LOL

Porn To Be Wild

I was twittering this afternoon and I bumped into an old episode of Will & Grace on dvd.

Jack and Karen were discussing about porn.

They said that there is actually a formula on how to get porn names.
Mwahahaha!

Anyway, if you decided to get into the porn film industry, the formula to get your porn name is this:

Your first name should be the name of your first pet.

And your family name should be the name of the street where you live.

So taking into consideration the formula, my porn name would be:

Coochie San Miguel.

Oh 'di ba maganda? Tunog malandi at performance level.

Hahaha!

I also texted the gurls about this and here's what we got.

My friend Unique's would be:

Tisha Janssen.

Ang sosyal-sosyal noh? Tunog Hollywood! Parang gagawa ng porn series. Lol

Meanwhile Edz' would be:

Mishka Laurel.

Hahaha!

Unfortunately, bestfriend KC got the worst porn name.

Chicklet Gredu.

Bwahahaha!

Pangalan ba 'yan?

Char!

Eh ikaw, what would be yours?

Basics

It is so timely that the time I decided to take a supposed blog leave (kahapon yun), my adorable zebra laptop got fcuked up. My manang needs to have it checked at the service center so now I am forced by this unfavourable circumstance to be in the position where I am now.

Disconnected.

I guess I will just make the best out of what is left.

Temporarily.

Maybe a week of going back to the basics of blogging won't kill me noh.

Primitive as it may seem, at least it will still make sense. It may not be totally me but this is just for a few days.

Yes, mobile phone blogging.

Convenient naman siya eh.

Yun nga lang, pahirapan ang browsing and posting. Not to mention, quite costly for a prepaid subscriber like me.

Yes, that means I'm suspending my supposed hiatus. I'm done with it.

Hahaha! I told you so.

Actually, I found reasons to continue with what I do.

Sabi ko nga before, why take away or reject happiness when it's already within reach.

Ano ako hilo? Char!

Isa pa, may new readers and followers din ako. Sayang naman at baka mawala pa.

And one more thing, nagalit si Ate Lyka.
Nobody messes with THE Lyka noh!

Hahaha!

I guess that means I'm staying.

And I received an SMS from someone important kanina.

It brought me back to life.
Char!

Thank you.

Uninspired

I am on an indefinite blog leave.

I think I got tired.

I hope to be back soon though.

Malay mo bukas makapag-blog ulet ako.

Haha!

I am on tweeter though for those interested to know what's up with me in real time.

Char!

Light

There are three mothers in my immediate family.

My mother, the one who brought me to this world, and my two sisters, mothers to my nieces Yanee and Zoe and nephew Pacey.

They may not be the perfect mothers but they certainly are one of the best mothers who try to give their offsprings the very best in life.

There are millions more out there but not all of them is blessed enough to give their children a good and satisfied way of living.

As a tribute to them, I would want to share this e-mail I received from the World Food Programme.

Hit and Miss

I am so pissed.

Actually, I don’t know why.

Basta, masama lang ang mood ko ngayon.

Hmmmm….

Maybe, I’m having PMS?

Teka, in two weeks pa darating ang dalaw ko ah..

Maybe, I miss something or someone.

Food?

Men?

Friends?

Home?

Channel V?

Nah.

The dvd feature in my laptop is not functioning. I’m so booooored. Wala naman akong makausap sa phone. Isa pa wala akong load. LOL

Binabaha niya ang inbox ko sa text, at kahit wee hours in the morning ay tumatawag for no reason. Lalo na kung lasing. Where is he when I need him?

Gosh.

Napagdiskitahan ko tuloy si Edz sa Facebook. Tinarayan ko ang status niya. LOL

Bruha.

Sometimes, we need a little bit of that mean bone in order to survive.

We can’t be nice all the time. Yes, being nice is good but then again people with bad intentions abuse you. They need to know that you have claws too.

Speaking of claws, I watched Wolverine last weekend and I must say that movie is hohum.

Literally.

I almost slept during the entire run.

That Emma Frost character is so bongga ha. I wish she had more exposure. Yung makipagbakbakan din siya kay Sabretooth. Bwahaha!

Speaking of bakbakan, I thought there’s a little tension between Dabo and Ewik. Naloka ako sandali. Buti na lang at ‘experiment’ lang pala. Juice ko, I was sweating grape juice. LOL

I wonder…..

Nah.

I promised to keep my lips sealed.

Anyway, I’m planning to make little changes in this blog.

I’m cleaning up and redecorating this weekend.

Oh Manny

For the record, I love Manny Pacquiao. As a sportsman and as a Filipino.

I congratulate him for winning the battle against Ricky Hatton. It's one of the best knockouts ever.

For his victory, I am very proud to be a Filipino. Kahit na I claim to be British. LOL

There have been lots of Manny Pacquiao jokes but this one made me laugh so hard, it almost killed me and I wanna share it with you.

Some of you may have read this joke. Joke lang naman ito eh. Hindi totohanan. Kung ayaw mo sa Pacman jokes....

I don't care.

Hahaha!

Read on.

After winning against Hatton, Manny's wife Jinkee found out she's pregnant.

Jinkee: Manny, buntis na naman ako.

Manny: Talaga love? Wow! Excited na ako.

Jinkee: Ako din. Teka, ano kaya ipapangalan natin sa kanya?

Manny: Oo nga ano. Hmmmm...

Manny: Magandang idea yan! Teka mag-iisip ako.

Jinkee: Sige nga....

After a few minutes....

Manny: Aha! Alam ko na!

Jinkee: May naisip ka na love?

Manny: Oo! Manny and Jinkee......

MANKEE!

Strigiformes

I have not been relating to myself lately and I’m afraid that I’m getting bored.

Also, these past few days have been tough, personally.

Anyway, I still want to continue with whatever makes me smile, survive and continue making other people happy with this medium.

I am still here.

In the tradition of my Animal Farm series that started with Fishes, followed by the Cats, this is the third installment.

Forgive me for being mean though. I know I’m not perfect pero mas mabuti nang mauna ako sa pang-ookray. LOL

Enjoy.

Baby No More

So many things happened this week.

Both good things and bad things.

Star witness Jun Lozada is now in jail for telling the truth.

Judy Ann Santos and my ex-boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo got married secretly.

Swine Influenza is terrorizing Mexico.

Lukas died.

Cacai is coming home this September.

Joms is leaving blogosphere.

When I was just starting here, Joms is one of my earliest readers and became my friend. His stories are both exciting and inspiring. I know everyone of you will agree.

He is one of those few people who believed in me, encouraging me to share more of my opinions and experiences. His kind words are always an inspiration for me to make every post interesting and be proud of my ‘ability’.

It’s always been a daily thing for me to check his blog. Sad to say, I am now forced to change my routine for I will no longer see and read new things from my baby.

I may not know the exact story of his departure in the blogosphere but I respect his decision. I know it’s for the better.

I wish for him to be happy, whatever plan he has in the future.

Textmates pa rin kami and I could always fly to Manila to see him if I want to. Or if my schedule will permit me.

Or if he wants to see me. Hahaha!

Basta.

Konting sadness lang ito.

Ito’y lilipas din.

Ingat ka palagi baby.

Dito lang ang sweet pea mo.
